Events and Activities

 Fall semester required activities:

  • Attend the Major & Minors Fair in the fall.
  • Use the Center for Student Learning (CSL) services a minimum of 3 times during the fall semester. This includes using the walk in labs, working with a tutor, meeting with a staff member about your study skills, or attending a study skills workshop. For information about the Center visit the website at http://csl.cofc.edu/index.php.
  • Attend the student success seminar that meets 4 times (August 27-Oct 8) during the fall semester and complete the online assignments.
  • Meet with your student success seminar instructor to review your midterm grades. Midterm grades are available through TTC Express on October 5, 2018 after noon.
  • Complete both parts of the 3rd Millennium program accessed from MyCharleston. Students must receive a score of 70 or higher on both exams. NOTE: There is a 30- day wait period after completing the first exam so be sure to complete the first exam early in the fall semester.
  • Complete a final exam study plan and meet with your student success seminar instructor to review.
  • Drop in for the end of semester Charleston Bridge event on November 13, 2018 (4-6pm). Details will be emailed.
  • If accepted into the College of Charleston for the spring 2019 semester, attend Advising & Registration days on December 12 or 13, 2018 to register for CofC spring classes.
