Events and Activities

Charleston Bridge  Summer & Fall semester activities:

  • Attend the Charleston Bridge Orientation.
  • Attend New Student Convocation in August.
  • Attend the Major & Minors Fair in the fall.
  • Visit the Center for Student Learning (CSL) and use their services at least 2 times during the fall semester. This can include using the walk-in labs, working with a tutor, meeting with a staff member about your study skills, or attending a study skills workshop offered by the CSL. Be sure to sign in when you visit the CSL or attend a workshop so your attendance will be noted.
  • Attend the student success seminar during the fall semester and complete the online assignments. There are 7 seminar meetings during the fall semester and attendance is mandatory. 
  • Meet with your student success seminar instructor or Charleston Bridge Mentor as requested.

Students meeting all program requirements and are accepted into the College of Charleston for the spring will attend Advising & Registration days to register for spring classes. This will be scheduled in December after final grades post and before students vacate the residence halls for the holiday break. Students with approved spring admission appeals will attend  spring advising and registration in January.
