Charleston Bridge Mentors

Charleston Bridge Mentors guide bridge students by supporting their academic and personal experience while residing on the College of Charleston campus. An assigned mentor will be a main point of contact with students during the fall semester. Mentors are college graduates who have experience working with first year students, knowledge of campus resources, and are committed to student success and development.

Throughout the semester, mentors will plan programs to help students get to know the campus as well as the Charleston community. They will also be communicating with Charleston Bridge participants via email and meeting with students periodically to ensure they are transitioning well and working toward meeting all of the Charleston Bridge program requirements. Students will be expected to make your scheduled appointment times with their assigned mentor and communicate with them on a regular basis. Primary communication between the student and his or her mentor will be through College of Charleston email.
