Humanities and Social Science Fellows

HSS Fellows Program

Humanities and Social Science Fellows provides academically talented first year students an enriched education experience with an international study abroad component. Some of the program’s advantages include faculty mentoring, dedicated academic advising, and special learning opportunities only available to HSS Fellows.

HSS Fellows are selected because they can make a substantial impact during their College of Charleston career. Their interests in the Humanities and Social Sciences will introduce them to a wide variety of academic fields, research, and ongoing faculty relationships.

Once accepted into this prestigious opportunity each HSS Fellow is matched to a faculty mentor who will support the transition into the fall semester and beyond. Additionally, a student peer facilitator will encourage the growth and success of each fellow and travel with them to our partner university in Switzerland.
